The Columbia Trail is well used and a great place to share a walk and talk with friends. The Arboretum and Deer Path Park offer an excellent opportunity to spend quality time with the family.

Embracing Hunterdon and surrounding counties — oases in western central New Jersey, the most densely populated state in the United States — this sequel broadens the quest from the original trail guide, extending to Highlands trails and routes outside of Hunterdon County.

Hunterdon, Warren and Morris counties are part of the Skylands Region bounded on the west by the Delaware River with a view of Pennsylvania.
